My dad, Clive, was a carpenter for all of his working life. I did a little bit of woodwork at school almost 40 years ago. Take Clive and I to a hardware store. Buy us both some timber, a saw, a plane, a chisel, etc., and ask us both to make a table. Who do you think would craft the finest one? I'll give you a clue: Not me!
